Packing your bags to Australia?
Here is the best information/advice you need while you are preparing yourself to fly to Australia
- Visa copy: Know your visa eligibility and responsibilities
- Cash – Declare it You can bring an unlimited amount of money into and out of Australia. But, you will have to declare cash in Australian and foreign currency if the combined value is AUD$10,000 or more.
- Food – Declare it
- Medication – Declare it
- Carry a travel adapter as Australian plugs are different
- Before coming, make sure your Driving license is up to date as you would need it here in Australia. If you cannot drive then learn driving please because life is so hard in foreign countries if you cannot drive as well as it saves your lots of time and money
- Never exceed luggage weight limit
- If bringing credit cards, make sure you have unblocked it for international transaction as wouldn't work otherwise
Arrive with the right documents
- Passport (current and with at least one-year validity)
- Driver’s license
- Birth/marriage certificates
- Doctor or dentist files
- Medication prescriptions
- Digital version of your resume
- Copies of university transcripts (if planning on studying)
- Rental history documentation
- Colour passport photos
